Official Farewell Note of the Outgoing Convenor, COCOMI
As I step aside from the responsibility entrusted to me as the Convenor of the Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI), I do so with a heart filled with gratitude, humility, and unwavering resolve.
I thank each one of you for believing in me, standing by me, and walking alongside me during one of the most challenging and defining phases of our collective history. The trust you placed in me was not merely a position or a title; it was a sacred responsibility to speak, act, and stand for our land and our people.
My tenure has been a journey marked by both moments of strength and moments of pain, by hope and heartbreak, by solidarity and sacrifice. I have learned that leadership is not measured by comfort or applause, but by the courage to stand firm when the path is uncertain and the cost is heavy. Every criticism, every disagreement, and every hardship has only deepened my understanding of our people and strengthened my commitment to our shared cause.
I carry with me cherished memories of collective resolve, sleepless nights of concern for our people, and the silent strength drawn from your faith and resilience. These experiences, both good and bad, will remain etched in my heart and will shape me for the rest of my life.
Though my formal role as Convenor concludes, my commitment does not. I will continue to serve my land and my people with the same dedication, sincerity, and enthusiasm, unbound by position but guided by conscience. COCOMI is not an individual; it is a collective spirit, and that spirit must continue to rise above fear, division, and despair.
I place my full faith in the incoming leadership and in the collective wisdom of our people. May unity guide your actions, truth anchor your decisions, and courage light your path ahead.
To my people, this is not a goodbye. It is merely a pause in roles, not in responsibility. Our struggle, our love for the land, and our duty to future generations continue.
