The Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) is set to host a significant public convention on May 3, 2025, at Khuman Lampak, Imphal, to mark two years since the onset of unrest in Manipur. This event aims to bring together citizens, stakeholders, and leaders to deliberate on the ongoing crisis and adopt resolutions that could pave the way for peace and normalcy in the state.

Scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m., the convention will serve as a platform to reflect on the challenges faced by the people of Manipur over the past two years. It will also feature a candlelight tribute to honor those who have lost their lives during this period. As an umbrella organization representing the Meitei community, COCOMI has been at the forefront of advocating for integrity, unity, and resolution amidst the turmoil.

Preparations for this mega event are already underway, with the organization urging widespread participation from all sections of society. The gathering is expected to draw large crowds, reflecting the collective desire of the people to find sustainable solutions to the ongoing conflict.
